Limelight offers the LvpAuthUtil.php (PHP code) to aid in authenticating requests. This is used in every sample below and the authentication function is called with the right parameters. The samples are organized into below sets :
Requests for information about the media, channel and channel group content in your account can be accomplished using our suite of GET requests.
New content can be created or uploaded to your account using our suite of POST and PUT requests.
Updates to media and channel information in your account can be accomplished using our suite of PUT requests.
The deletion of media and channel content information in your account can be accomplished using our suite of DELETE requests.
To accommodate special business needs, Limelight permits the creation and use of custom metadata properties in addition to the standard properties listed in section 2.0 above.
In order to ensure the security of your information, we require some requests to be authenticated. All methods indicated above as requiring authentication must have a signature.
